Welcome to the Department of Urban and Regional Planning. Our mission to prepare students to become professional spatial planners who are ready to take on unprecedented challenges in neighborhoods, towns, and cities around the country. The goal of the programme is to equip students with theoretical and practical skills in Urban and Regional Planning that will enable them develop spatial plans at urban, rural and regional levels to guide developments. This will ensure order, compatibility, accessibility, safety and aesthetics resulting in optimal and sustainable use of resources.
